Last week I set some goals for my Thanksgiving holiday with family. Let’s see how I did…
- Really take stock of what I’m thankful for – Yeah, I killed this one. Knocked it out of the park. I had some serious quality time with family, and it was good. No offense to your niece, but mine is cuter.
- Not eat to the point of exhaustion/sickness – Errr… I did okay on this one… Come on, it was Thanksgiving! I can honestly say, though, that I never even approached feeling sick. Just very, very full.
- Finish the book I’m reading – I didn’t even come close on this one. I’m not even quite half-way finished with The Catcher in the Rye. I really wanted to finish it, but there was just too much of this…
So, I don’t really feel bad at all about missing the mark on that last goal. If I had put my head down to finish the book, I would have missed out on all that other awesomeness. And, by the way, the people in these photos are at the top of the list of things I’m truly thankful for.
So there it is. I hope your Thanksgiving was as awesome as mine was. And I hope your Christmas is fantastic, too.
