Photography Friday – Birds

Time for another Photography Friday, where I share some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken with you. I’m still in the process of migrating older photos over to PoG from my other blog. These were taken at Zoo Atlanta in the summer of 2005. Enjoy!

I love these photos because they show off some of the beauty and creativity of God’s creation. All four of these photos feature different species that are at least somewhat closely related (all being birds), yet each is incredibly unique from the others. It makes me feel small in comparison to God to know that there are literally thousands of species of bird out there, not to mention insects, mammals, reptiles, fish, etc. Truly God is a creative artist.

Peace.

    • Those were actually taken with a Fujifilm S-something in the summer of 2005. It’s basically a 4.2 mega-pixel point-and-shoot that tries really hard to look like a DSLR. I got a Nikon D-3100 for Christmas this year, with the Nikkor 18-55 and 55-200 lenses. As soon as I finish posting older photos, you’ll see some pics taken with it. Thanks, by the way!
